Emily's Flight Lessons: Climbing and Turning

Hello! My name is Emily and I'm married to Patrick,  the owner and creator of  Nflightcam.  I'm going to be writing  about my adventures in learning to fly here at the Nflighcam Blog.  Of course, I'll be using Nflightcams to capture the flights. I've gotten a little behind on my flight lesson videos since Patrick is out of town. He's been the main video editor around here so I had to teach myself to use Final Cut Pro X! (So basically, cut me a little slack on this video. I'm still getting the hang of it.) This lesson was about a week and a half ago, and I can already see progress since then.  Mostly we covered climbing at different airspeeds and some turning techniques. And from the beginning of the video you can see that talking on the radio is not one of my best skills yet either. That is, when I'm not trying to run us off the runway during takeoff.  I saved that delightful little clip for the blooper reel. Oh yes, there will be an outtakes version of these videos. I should have one more video ready in a day or so, and then, fingers crossed, be caught up on my editing.
